The falcon

The story tells, to me of how people treat and respect the world. Meaning the guy who hunts with his car vs the man who hunts with his bird, the falcon. It show honor and respect for nature by hunting with the bird, showing how in touch with nature he really is. On the other hand, the one guy that hunts with his car. chases after the gazelle with his car till the animal can run no more. This is a very disrespectful way to die and is a shame that someone or something would have to die like this. A sad point for me is when the falcon refuses to eat after not killing the red gazelle. One question I do have, could the gazelle be a representation of his wife and him the falcon?
